Magic in the Ancient World

Ancient magic addressed many of the dreams, hopes, and passions that humans grapple with today: desire for health and well-being, protection from evil, even revenge. Magic in the Ancient World featured 81 artifacts from ancient Egypt, Mesopotamia, Greece, and Rome. Members of Super Commons worked on this gallery from concept to install as part of an in-house design team at the Penn Museum.
